Our newly developed coating agent has excellent anti-fogging properties, not only against vapor similar to human breath but also under harsh conditions exposed to high-temperature steam close to boiling water, maintaining transparency. Furthermore, by newly incorporating a special monomer, we have successfully endowed the coating with surface water-repellent and slip properties. This is expected to broaden the range of applications. Through our unique customized formulation, we provide a coating agent that can adapt to the required film properties (hardness, weather resistance, adhesion, water resistance, etc.) and substrates.

The "UDC Series" is an additive that features a fluorinated modified group with anti-fouling and slip properties, as well as functional groups that allow for UV and electron beam (EB) curing. It can be used in hard coatings for films (such as decorative films and anti-reflective films), as well as in displays, touch panels, and electronic devices, including automotive interior housings. By adding a small amount to existing UV and EB curing materials, excellent functions can be imparted.
