Free membership registrationWe will provide a DVD containing the cooperation factory management tools and manuals. ● Set of 3 process audit check sheets (Excel version) ● Template for basic contract with overseas cooperation factories (set of 3) available in English ● Explanation document on outsourcing audit points ● Procedure manual for production management at cooperation factories Factory audits and process audits involve visiting cooperation factories to check the on-site conditions and documents; however, effective audits are not always conducted, leading to various troubles after mass production begins. Recently, due to the impact of COVID-19, it has become difficult to visit factories for audits, resulting in cases where accurate audits cannot be conducted. Therefore, we will provide a complete set of tools to strengthen quality management at cooperation factories on a DVD.

Free membership registrationThe countermeasure document format includes the following features in Excel: 1. Enumeration of Factors (Select from approximately 80 items) Candidates for causes and factors are selected from a dropdown menu, narrowing down the causes to those most closely related to the defect phenomenon and causal relationships. Candidates that are less relevant or unrelated are removed. There are 8 categories of candidates, with about 80 items available for selection. 2. Identification of Causes The investigation of factors is conducted from upstream to downstream processes. For example, during the process design stage, if there was an oversight in the creation of the QC process chart, it is necessary to thoroughly investigate why that oversight occurred. Among these, the item most closely related to the phenomenon that occurred and the causal relationship is selected as the cause. 3. Development of Countermeasures (Select from approximately 200 items) The content of the countermeasures is selected from a dropdown menu. By covering as wide a range as possible, countermeasures can include horizontal deployment or measures from upstream processes. 4. Feedback to Standard Documents Feedback on the content of the countermeasures to standard documents and informing relevant parties. By confirming whether the disseminated information is being correctly implemented, it can be verified that measures have been taken to prevent recurrence.

Free membership registrationCompanies are required to promote DX (Digital Transformation) as a "transformation" in the midst of significant environmental changes. The activities of the manufacturing industry are based on "people," "organizations," "unique technologies," and "production systems," but ultimately, it is "people" who determine quality. Companies need to strengthen these elements, differentiate themselves from competitors, and ensure their survival. Differentiation cannot be achieved through factory equipment or machine performance. 1. Overview of DX 1.1 What is DX? 1.2 What is DX in manufacturing? 1.3 Differences between improvement activities, IT implementation, and DX 1.4 New improvement activities to promote DX 2. Case Studies of DX Implementation 2.1 Essential digital technologies for DX 2.2 AI and robotics technology 2.3 IoT and data collection mechanisms 2.4 Data analysis and utilization methods 2.5 IT technologies for administrative departments 2.6 Solving familiar issues with digital technology 2.7 Skills required for engineers 3. Implementation of DX Strategy 3.1 Building foundational strength to withstand environmental changes 3.2 Two directions for DX in order processing and production companies 3.3 Creating customer value 3.4 Human resource development for promoting DX 3.5 Transforming from order-based production organizations to customer development organizations

Free membership registrationThis manual provides a detailed explanation of practical procedures for managing variability in manufacturing processes and quality improvement methods using statistical analysis techniques, such as t-tests, correlation analysis, regression analysis, and experimental design, based on MC processing data. In parts manufacturing, one of the challenges of machining parts with machine tools is improving dimensional accuracy. This manual addresses the variability in dimensional accuracy that arises from machining conditions (such as cutting speed, cutting amount, and feed rate) when machining automotive parts with end mills. It explains in detail the steps to statistically determine the optimal cutting conditions using regression analysis, correlation analysis, and experimental design, utilizing actual measurement data from machining tests.

Free membership registrationThere is significant attention being drawn to conversational AI with high language processing capabilities, such as ChatGPT and Bing AI. Utilizing this conversational AI in businesses can generate many benefits, including improved operational efficiency and increased productivity. ■ What specific tasks can be leveraged to enhance productivity? Here are some examples from my own experience: (1) Document creation, such as proposals and plans (2) Translation (3) Creation of manuals and work procedures (4) Customer complaint management (5) What is prompt engineering that draws out the capabilities of AI? ■ Now, how can we further apply this to advanced operations in the manufacturing industry? Let's consider this. Through discussions with Google Bard, it becomes clear that there are many hidden capabilities. I have summarized the results in an article, which I will publish as is, but it is necessary to verify whether these can actually be implemented. (1) Monitoring machine conditions with sensors for preventive maintenance (2) Creating production plans for factories using conversational AI (3) What is Microsoft 365 Copilot? (4) New features being developed for Google Bard that are deepening its capabilities.
