【Issue】 When conducting inspection work to determine whether the received products (clothing) meet the specifications provided in the manufacturing instructions, the visibility distance differs between the front and back on a flat work surface, leading to inconsistencies in observation. ↓ 【Solution】 By having an inclined work surface, the visibility of the clothing being inspected is almost uniform between the front and back, making it easier to inspect and confirm details. Additionally, the height adjustment feature allows workers to adopt a comfortable posture according to their height, resulting in improved work efficiency and reducing physical strain during the task. This is a case study of how we solved a customer's problem using a pallet rack that can be custom-made from a single unit. 【Customer's Problem】 The products being manufactured were placed directly on the ground in pallet stacks, but as production volume increased, they could no longer secure storage space. 　↓ 【Solution】 We proposed a pallet rack that utilizes vertical space. Focusing on the efficiency of storage operations, we added a back support (back beam) to the upper section and eliminated protrusions from the front supports. 【Customer Feedback】 We were able to create storage space. We can now perform storage operations without stress.

【Issues】 There was originally a 5m x 2 lane workbench. At the user's request, it was decided to expand it to 10m x 2 lanes. However, simply adding 5m would make it difficult to move to the opposite side during work. ↓ 【Solution】 By simply lifting the tabletop, the work surface can be turned into a passageway. With the Work Table 150 series lift-up type, it has become possible to move to the opposite side without reducing work efficiency. 【Customer Feedback】 It is easy to move since the middle section can be opened. 【Issues】 The storage space for pumps manufactured until shipment and delivery is becoming limited. ↓ 【Solution】 We propose a rail-less electric pallet rack that maximizes space utilization by effectively using vertical space and minimizing aisle width. 【Issues】 The number of fire-fighting equipment and disaster prevention products we handle has increased, and the existing shelves are no longer sufficient for storage. Products are stacked on pallets and placed directly on the ground, resulting in a lack of storage space. ↓ 【Solution】 By storing items on pallet racks instead of placing them directly on the ground, we utilized vertical space and secured storage space. 【Concerns】 I want to store PVC pipes efficiently. Currently, I am using a handmade rack made of single pipes, but I have concerns about its strength. 　　↓　　↓　　↓ 【Proposal】 By leaning the pipes, the appearance has become neat. Since the storage is vertical, I was able to minimize the storage footprint in the warehouse as much as possible. Estimates can be provided from one unit.

【Before Introduction】 Using an old wooden desk with a height of 700mm for shipping work. 【Issues】 The height is low, causing me to bend over while working, which has led to back pain. ↓ Proposed the Mobile Work Table 150 Series Used two units arranged in an L-shape. 【Effects After Introduction】 1. The height, including the casters, is 825mm, which has reduced the need to bend over while working, alleviating strain on my back. 2. Both the tabletop and legs are white, brightening up the workspace. 3. With the casters, moving the table for cleaning has become easy, making it very convenient.

【Concerns】 I want to store the products on the cart. I want to utilize the upper space of the storage area for the cart. 　　↓　　↓　　↓ 【Proposed Product】 Boltless Flexible Rack (Load Capacity 300kg per level) ・Height 2100mm × Width 1200mm × Depth 480mm ・The lowest beam has been raised to allow for storage of the cart. 【Customer Feedback】 I can now store the products on the platform cart in the bottom of the rack. 【Concerns】 Molds used in manufacturing are placed on pallets and stored on the floor. Because the molds take up space, other items cannot be placed. ↓ 【Solution to Concerns】 1. To save space, they were stored on pallet racks. 2. The shelves were designed to accommodate various shapes and sizes of molds. 3. To withstand heavy molds, pipes were installed on the back of the shelves for reinforcement. (Uniform load capacity of 1500kg per shelf) 4. To prevent the shelves from lifting due to the weight of the molds, iron plates were installed at both ends in the depth direction to secure the shelves in place. 【Concerns】 - I want to store void pipes (paper tubes used at construction sites) separately by product with different diameters. - I want to store them efficiently. 　　↓　　↓　　↓ 【Proposal】 Custom-made storage rack for void pipes (Specification with U-shaped steel plate and mesh on the back and sides) Dividers have been installed within the rack to allow for storage of products with different diameters. By adding mesh to the back and sides, we prevent products from falling out. Estimates are available from one unit.

【Concerns】 Due to the large variety of products, storage space is becoming limited. The current rack has a wide opening, and when heavy boxed items are stored, the center of the shelf tends to sag. 　　↓　　↓　　↓ 【Proposed Product】 Boltless Medium-Duty Rack 500kg/Level We propose maximizing storage and layout within a limited space. By centering the layout around a smaller rack with an opening of 900mm, we have resolved the sagging issue in the center of the shelf. 【Customer Feedback】 We were able to secure storage space for a variety of products. 【Concerns】 The use of a large workbench has made the passageway narrow. The workbench gets in the way during transit and when transporting goods. ↓ ↓ ↓ 【Proposed Products】 - Work Table 150 Series - Long Adjuster (Optional) 【Effects After Implementation】 1. By changing from a large workbench to a smaller workbench with a width of 900mm, we were able to compact the workspace and increase the conveyor line. 2. By using the long adjuster to set the height of the tabletop to match the height of the conveyor line, it became easier to pull container boxes onto the workbench. 3. By setting the joint position at the base further back, space was created, allowing us to place a trash can under the workbench. Placing it close to the work area contributed to an increase in work efficiency.

【Concerns】 There are many box pallets storing equipment placed on the ground, but the space has become cramped. ↓ We propose a pallet rack with floor shelf board specifications and a fall prevention frame. 【Evaluation After Implementation】 1. The use of a pallet rack that utilizes vertical space has improved storage efficiency. 2. By adding a fall prevention frame considering safety, we have implemented safety measures. 3. To provide a support surface for the legs of the box pallets, we used a floor shelf board specification with reinforcement. This secured the installation surface and stabilized it. 【Situation on the Site Before Introduction】 - Multiple people of varying heights are involved in sorting screws, packaging, and weighing on the work table. 【Concerns】 - Particularly, taller workers find that the existing table height is not suitable, causing them to bend over while working, which leads to back pain. - There are several different sizes of bags for sorting screws, making storage difficult. 　　　↓　　↓　　↓ 【Proposed Product】 Height-adjustable work table + Custom-made shelf at the foot of the table - A height-adjustable work table was selected that allows for easy height adjustment with a handle to accommodate the workers' heights. - A custom-made shelf was installed at the foot of the table to provide storage space for the bags.

【Current Situation and Issues】 1. The desk has become old and looks bad. 2. When working in groups or during cleaning, it takes time to lift and carry the desk with two people. * It is dangerous to lift and move it alone. ↓　　　↓　　　↓ 【Proposed Products】 - Work Table 150 Series Easy-Move Type * The tabletop size is custom-made. - Stain-resistant desk mat. 1. Easy switching between fixed and movable types. 2. The desired size was 750mm in width and 500mm in depth, but when the desks are lined up side by side, the casters touch each other. ⇒ Proposed a custom size of 800mm in width and 600mm in depth to prevent the casters from touching. 3. A desk mat is included to keep the tabletop clean. 【Effects After Implementation】 1. It is easy to switch to a movable type, making it easier to rearrange the classroom layout and during cleaning. 2. The previous desk was primarily black, but thanks to the white-based 150 series, the classroom has become brighter. 3. The tabletop has become larger. 4. When four desks are lined up, there are no gaps between the tabletops, making it less likely for pencils and other items to fall.

【Request】 - I want to consolidate the necessary computers, product drawings, tools, and equipment into one. - I want to prepare one workbench for each worker. 　　　↓　　↓　　↓ 【Proposed Products】 - Mobile Work Table 300 Series SWRC-660-GI - Foot Shelf for Work Table WT-660-IV x 2 pieces - 3-Tier Cabinet S3-IV - Multi-System NK-0605 - Multi-System Options: Shelf + Inclined Shelf 【Effects After Implementation】 - By placing the drawings and computer on the multi-system, it became easier to see and input work. - By storing tools and equipment in the cabinet, I was able to consolidate them at hand.

This is a case study introducing a custom solution that utilizes standard products to solve customer issues. 【Customer Issues】 ◆ Performing pre-shipment tasks while handling both printers and label printers simultaneously. ◆ Stacking each printer makes them too high and difficult to reach. As a current improvement measure, printers and label printers are installed on separate workbenches, which has resulted in a cramped working space. ↓ 【Solution】 Considering stability and ease of handling on the printer side (during paper feeding, etc.), we proposed a configuration that separates the workbench and the cart. By adopting an L-shaped workbench, we were able to efficiently accommodate the cart while keeping it close to the printers, thus effectively utilizing the limited space. Additionally, we set the height according to the positions of the printer's discharge and feed openings, creating a custom size that maximizes the use of standard products. ↓ 【Customer Feedback】 We were able to install various printers needed for work within a reachable workspace without strain. We have been able to secure a wider working space. With the installation of casters with stoppers, the cart can be moved with minimal effort, making cleaning and other tasks easier.
