Our company, as a domestic lumber manufacturer of Russian red pine (northern timber), primarily produces and ships dried materials for housing, such as studs, battens, and crosspieces. For many years, we have imported logs of Siberian red pine and processed them into lumber; however, since the fiscal year 2008, we have ceased the sawing of raw timber and are currently operating as a reprocessing factory for imported lumber. Red pine is particularly easy to handle among woods and is widely used as a building material for homes. In recent years, its usability has been recognized, attracting attention in the DIY sector as well. Notably, the Russian red pine we handle is characterized by fine growth rings due to its growth in cold regions and its high age.
