As a specialized trading company for industrial machinery, we provide new "machines" to realize a richer society.
The Sojitz Group has been developing a wide range of businesses as a general trading company for over 150 years, rooted in the long histories of Nichimen Corporation and Nissho Iwai Corporation. Sojitz Machinery Corporation was newly established on April 1, 2021, by integrating four companies within the Sojitz Group as the core business company in the machinery segment. We engage in the trading of plants, equipment, and materials used across a wide range of industrial fields, including steel, chemicals, power, automotive, home appliances, and electronic devices, providing comprehensive support for domestic and international business development through various functions required for equipment introduction and overseas expansion. In the Environmental and Lifestyle Industry Systems Division, we focus primarily on advanced materials, environmental/3R, and automation/labor-saving technologies. We offer a diverse lineup of innovative recycling equipment and cutting-edge production facilities and ancillary equipment for the plastic industry (films, sheets, non-woven fabrics), as well as storage, sorting, processing, and inspection equipment related to agriculture, confectionery, food processing, and beverages, both domestically and internationally. In the semiconductor sector, we provide processing equipment for high value-added products and next-generation materials, and we realize optimal material handling systems within factories. Leveraging our unique expertise, we offer a wide range of high-value-added optimal solutions to solve our customers' challenges.
