AI "RICOS Lightning" that makes fluid simulation 100 times faster.
RICOS is a tech company that optimizes the manufacturing process by combining AI and high-performance computing technologies with CAE. We develop and provide CAE tools, including "RICOS Lightning," which uses our proprietary AI algorithm "IsoGCN" to predict simulation results quickly and accurately. Currently, "RICOS Lightning" has been adopted by domestic automobile manufacturers. We are also conducting joint research and development to apply our algorithms to fluid simulations carried out by clients in other industries and validate their accuracy. We address the challenge of "long processing times for fluid simulations" by achieving the accuracy and speed that clients require, developing new software, and ultimately following up to optimize the CAE flow. 【Recent Research Achievements】 - Research results with Tsukuba University accepted at the top international conference on machine learning, NeurIPS 2022. - Selected in the third public recruitment of NEDO's 2021 "Research and Development Startup Support Project / Business Development Support for Seed-stage Research and Development Startups."

【RICOS Lightning】 This is an AI application that rapidly predicts the results of fluid simulations. It not only offers high speed but also high accuracy, and it possesses strong extrapolation capabilities that allow it to achieve good precision even for shapes not included in the training data. ■ Previous Application Achievements - Automotive Aerodynamic Simulation Predicted simulation results that typically take several days in just 10 to 20 minutes, with an error in Cd value of less than 0.01. - Indoor Airflow Simulation Predicted flow rates approximately 100 times faster, with an error of about 1%. ■ Process for Implementation - Automotive Aerodynamic Simulation and Indoor Airflow Simulation In addition to annual license agreements, we offer limited-time test licenses. - Other Fluid Simulations The algorithm is widely applicable to fluid analysis, so we propose accuracy verification and applicability verification. 【Other Technologies Held Besides RICOS Lightning】 A shape optimization system that modifies shapes based on simulation results. - CAD System: truck - Optimization Technology: RICOS Optimizer
