A dimming enhanced glass unit that can switch between light-blocking dimming mode and transmission mode. Glass, special film (liquid crystal particles), glass structure. It seems that each manufacturer has its own characteristics regarding drill chucks that can secure cutting tools without using a chuck handle (chuck key). While you expressed a desire for complete equal division, I considered that after cutting, parts other than the body might detach or fall, making it difficult to maintain the condition. Therefore, I proposed cutting at an offset from the central rotation point. Although the state is somewhat difficult to diagnose, there is little disturbance on the surfaces of the cavities and gaps, and various materials such as iron, alloy steel, chrome-molybdenum-vanadium steel, carbon steel, TPE, PA, and PP were cut into easily verifiable cross-sections without separating the spindle or guides.

Request for downsizing cutting of the test specimen from the formed body that has been cast. Other cutting machines may introduce new stress to the test specimen due to vibrations during cutting, making it unsuitable as a test piece. With water jet cutting, we received the request because it can cut into arbitrary shapes without stress, allowing the specimen to remain viable. Care was taken with the cutting speed to ensure that there was no impact on the rebar, which is subject to severe corrosion, or on the delamination and voids between the concrete layers.

With our extensive experience and track record in water jet cutting, we accept requests for prototyping and verification cutting of difficult-to-process materials such as metals, plastics, and composites.

The firing process is diversifying to meet various needs. We accommodate custom specifications for electric furnaces beyond standard sizes. Plates with an alumina (Al2O3) purity of 99.5% or higher are industrial materials with excellent heat resistance, hardness, and electrical insulation properties. Due to their hardness and brittleness, a different approach is required compared to general metal materials, which may involve diamond saws or special electrodes for wire electrical discharge machining. However, considering factors such as thermal impact, cost, delivery time, and processing accuracy, water jet cutting was chosen. First, we conducted a test cut just to be safe; although a tapered cross-section was produced, we determined that cutting was feasible and officially accepted the order.

This unique building material, with its distinctive shape and surface color, creates a unique atmosphere visually. It has been adopted for the interior of a store, and we have undertaken some processing. It is said to provide an impressive ambiance for visitors and has received positive feedback. Among metal materials, it is a durable and rust-resistant material with various cutting methods available. The material used this time consists of corrugated sheets with a height difference of about 10mm at a 30mm pitch. While simple cutting poses no issues, the processing required is for arbitrary positions unrelated to the peaks and valleys, which caused difficulties for the processing contractor. Therefore, our water jet cutting service was chosen. However, the cutting exposes the raw surface completely, so after processing multiple corner cutouts, we carried out drying and curing each time. Hafnium metal, widely used in control rods for nuclear reactors, jet engine parts, semiconductor materials, etc. This time, we are cutting small pieces for additive materials in the production of special alloys. Due to its high hardness, susceptibility to oxidation, and uneven thickness, water jet cutting was chosen. There are various issues with small piece cutting using our equipment, making continuous processing difficult. However, with some leeway in tolerances, we devised a setting and cutting method to perform continuous cutting of 10mm squares. In general machining, it is thought that the spacing of the slit section may become uneven due to thermal effects, but it has been completed in a perfectly uniform state. The abrasive water jet is the optimal machining method for applications with high added value and is widely used for cutting aluminum and steel materials. It can cut materials ranging from 0.3mm to 180mm in thickness, regardless of the manufacturing volume. Since it does not undergo mechanical stress and is not affected by thermal deformation or thermal effects, it provides high-quality cut surfaces without stress, making it ideal for the production of test specimens made of metals and resins. Additionally, it saves time and costs that would traditionally be spent on secondary processing, and the setup and jig configuration can be completed in just a few minutes, thereby enhancing productivity. In the water jet cutting of thick resin boards, there are two specific issues: water flow delay and taper. However, with Flow's dynamic water jet, high-speed and high-precision taper-free cutting is possible, eliminating heat generation during processing and preventing chips from softening or thermally deforming. The 40mm thick board is processed almost vertically, cutting four types of segmented arcs and fan shapes into about 20 parts from a 1000mm x 2000mm board, reducing the conventional machining waste rate from about 50% to below 10%.

The request was for a complete equal division with center cuts, but due to concerns about the retention rate of each part after cutting, a 90-degree opening cut was proposed. The separated side retained almost its original shape except for the cutting width (cut allowance, kerf width). However, even with the insertion of special stabilizing materials in the frame (unstable areas) and the magnet section to fill the gaps, there was still some impact on the interlayer and cutting surface near the cutting width (cut allowance, kerf width) due to the state of jet water flow diffusion after penetrating through the layers, resulting in a lack of clarity and a completely vertical surface.
