Esmarks Corporation develops and sells RF spring contacts and reflow nut products under its original brand "SMARX" within the TPS Group. With the "SMARX Contact," which combines excellent high-frequency performance and high-reliability connection characteristics, and the "SMARX Reflow Nut," which enhances the design flexibility of circuit boards, we solve customer challenges and contribute to product performance improvement. ◇SMARX Contact This is a component that performs electrical connections between circuit boards or between a circuit board and a housing. There are series with a projected area of less than 1mm², allowing connections from a minimum height of 0.5mm between circuit boards. ◇SMARX Reflow Nut This product is designed to mount a nut on the surface of a circuit board. As a non-through type, it eliminates the need to drill holes in the circuit board, enhancing design flexibility. Despite its small size, it secures more than three threads, boasting high screw strength. Custom specifications for small lots are also available.

• Board to Board Connectors

The E1002 is an ultra-compact camera module equipped with a 2.3-inch TFT-LCD and Wi-Fi functionality. It can be used cordlessly thanks to its built-in Li-ion battery (2470mAh) and supports video recording and live streaming in H.264 and MPEG formats. In addition to features for adjusting image quality such as white balance, contrast, and brightness, it also includes a 2x electronic zoom function. It is equipped with Wi-Fi functionality compliant with IEEE 802.11 b/g/n and has a built-in 2dBi PCB antenna.

• Color camera

The USB1201-M10BL2 is a USB 2.0 camera module equipped with an infrared LED and features a 1-megapixel monochrome CMOS image sensor with a global shutter function. It supports M12 mount, allowing for the selection of the optimal lens according to the application. It can output video at up to 50fps in MJPEG and YUV2 formats, and it is equipped with 12 infrared LEDs at 850nm, making it ideal for monitoring in dark environments.

• Monochrome camera

The USB2001 is a compact USB camera module developed by Mostek Co., Ltd. It is equipped with a 1/9 inch 1-megapixel CMOS image sensor and can output video in MJPEG format at a maximum resolution of 1280×720 pixels at 30fps. With a wide angle of 110° diagonally, it supports shooting distances of 10cm to 15cm. It can be powered and output via a USB 2.0 Type-C connector and operates within a wide temperature range of -20°C to 70°C.

ELD6501A is an APC driver integrated laser diode module that incorporates a laser chip with a wavelength of 650nm, a rated output of 5mW, a monitor diode, and an APC drive circuit into a TO-56 metal can package. Since it has all the APC circuits built-in, it can output APC-controlled laser light using only the laser light output setting resistor. The integration into the TO-56 package enables miniaturization and lightweight design of laser application devices, reduction of development time, and improved reliability due to metal can sealing. Furthermore, it can block external surges to the laser chip, enhancing electrostatic discharge resistance during assembly and transportation.

• Laser Components

The ELM185BB is a bipolar structure laser diode driver IC that incorporates an APC circuit consisting of a reference voltage source and an error amplifier. The built-in reference voltage source stabilizes the laser output against changes in power supply voltage and temperature. It can drive laser currents of up to 400mA and achieves minimal footprint implementation in a compact SOT-26 package. Additionally, it features protection functions such as an abnormal high-temperature cutoff circuit, a laser drive current limiting function for control loop failures, and a built-in Zener diode for surge absorption to prevent laser diode destruction. In addition to APC control, it also allows for open-loop constant current driving using the built-in constant current setting function.

The SIM7672X series from SIMCom Wireless Solutions is a communication module that supports LTE Cat.1 bis as specified in 3GPP Release 13. It is expected to fill the gap between LTE Cat.1 and Cat-M/Cat-NB, supporting a maximum download speed of 10 Mbps and a maximum upload speed of 5 Mbps. It can operate with a single antenna and contributes to miniaturization (22% reduction in volume compared to conventional products) and cost reduction, including the communication module itself and peripheral circuits. It supports major bands in Japan and features a high-performance GNSS chip (with a lower-cost version available without GNSS), as well as low power consumption through eDRX functionality. It is anticipated to be used in a wide range of applications such as telematics, measurement and monitoring devices, industrial routers, and remote diagnostics.

Using a 60GHz millimeter wave radar, it achieves high-precision detection of distance, position, movement, and material identification. The A3T4GF30CBF(x8)/A3T4GF40CBF(x16) is an ECC-integrated DDR3 4Gb product. This product is the optimal solution that meets the functional safety requirements defined by ISO/IEC for system designs that require high reliability. ECC-integrated DDR directly notifies the SoC of faults that cannot be corrected by ECC, thereby reducing the system failure rate. Additionally, traditional systems face challenges in cost reduction because fault determination is performed by the SoC, requiring separate DDR for ECC in addition to the DDR for working memory. However, ECC-integrated DDR reduces the number of components and efficiently suppresses parts and implementation costs, power consumption, and EMI.
