Producing graphene, a material that can change the world, from discarded batteries!

Gengen Co., Ltd. is a company that manufactures and sells advanced material "graphene" using discarded lithium-ion batteries as raw materials. Graphene has attracted attention as a material that possesses approximately 200 times the strength of steel, high electrical conductivity surpassing that of copper, as well as high thermal conductivity, transparency, and flexibility. By combining the know-how cultivated through the collection and recycling of electronic waste with advanced graphene technology, we plan to start manufacturing in Japan from January 2027. We aim to elevate graphene to the status of "standard material for factories" and contribute to the advancement of Japanese industry and the realization of a circular society.
