Free membership registrationThis is a notice from Micronics Corporation regarding the "Conducted EMI Measurement System (Application Document)." A system that enables easy and cost-effective conducted EMI measurements using an EMI spectrum analyzer. ■□■Solution■□■ ■EMI Spectrum Analyzer/MSA438E - Equipped with the necessary functions for conducting EMI tests (QP, average detection, and RBW: 9kHz, 120kHz [6dB]), making it ideal for EMI measurements. - As a preliminary test for EMI testing, it can reduce the amount of countermeasures required and decrease the number of times the measurement site is used, significantly lowering running costs. ■Dedicated EMI Measurement Software/MAS430 - When used, it allows you to specify the standards you want to measure, such as CISPR11, 22, EN55011, 22, FCC Part15, VCCI, etc., and automatically sets the necessary parameters like bandwidth and threshold level. For other features and details, please download the catalog or contact us.

Free membership registrationBy creating an environment that minimizes unnecessary radio waves around the development and production sites, it becomes possible to evaluate the wireless systems of mobile phone devices. ■□■ Solution ■□■ ■ Protocol (Layer 1-3) testing via air connection - An environment is set up for bidirectional connection using a radio simulator and devices installed inside a radio anechoic chamber, with transmitting and receiving antennas mounted inside the chamber. - Each protocol (Layer 1-3) test is conducted using the radio simulator. ■ Transmission characteristics testing of wireless communication devices via air connection - Radio waves emitted from devices installed on a turntable are received by a receiving antenna mounted at the opposite position and output outside the radio anechoic chamber. - By connecting a spectrum analyzer or power meter to the input/output terminals, evaluations of various test items for the transmission characteristics on the radio device side can be conducted. ■ For other functions and details, please download the catalog or contact us.

Free membership registration【Product Introduction】 ■High-Frequency Passive Probe MP300 A passive probe with low input capacitance and a wide frequency range. The MP300 is a passive probe that features low input capacitance and a wide frequency range. It is used by connecting to measuring instruments (such as spectrum analyzers and oscilloscopes) with an input impedance of 50Ω. The input resistance of the MP300 is 500Ω, resulting in an attenuation ratio of 10:1. This value is significantly lower than that of typical passive probes or FET probes, so care must be taken regarding the impact on the circuit under test in the DC to low-frequency range. However, due to its low input capacitance and input impedance being close to a pure resistance, the load effect is minimal in the high-frequency range, allowing for better frequency response. It is ideal for comparing simulation results during high-frequency circuit design and for failure analysis.

Free membership registrationIf you have any questions regarding the introduction below, please feel free to contact us. ◆◇◆Features◆◇◆ It can perform spectrum measurements in a wide bandwidth supporting 50 kHz to 3.3 GHz. Errors due to ghost (reflected wave) interference have been reported in medium field areas around urban centers. Even if the digital broadcast terminal level is between 40 to 50 dB, it may not be received by the tuner, or block noise may occur. In this case, in addition to the general confirmation of BER/MER, it is necessary to implement countermeasures after checking the ripple drop intervals. By setting the span during measurement to 10 MHz and checking the C/N ratio, we can further narrow down the analysis and identify interference points based on the spectrum state during reception. Additionally, by using the full span function, it is possible to display the wideband spectrum from 50 kHz to 3.3 GHz on the same screen. This is the optimal tool for identifying which frequency bands are experiencing multipath or if distortion is occurring due to booster interference.
