Miniature circuit breaker compliant with UL489 and CSA C22.2 No.5.1 Can be used as an overcurrent protection device for branch circuits as specified by NEC, NFPA79, and UL508A Enables economical and compact control devices for the North American market. In addition to the conventional direct connection method for wires, connection with round crimp terminals is also possible.

The FAZ-DC miniature circuit breaker is a protective device equipped with both thermal and electromagnetic release, available in single-pole and double-pole versions. FAZ can be used with rated currents from 2A to 50A. The switching capacity is 10 kA in accordance with IEC/EN 60947-2. The DC rated voltage is 220V per pole for the 2A version and 250V per pole for the 3A to 50A versions. It features a guide for safe terminal connections and a 3-position DIN rail, making the installation of the circuit breaker easy.

The FAZ-NA-DC miniature circuit breaker is a protective device equipped with both thermal and electromagnetic releases. The FAZ-NA-DC for DC applications is available in 1-pole and 2-pole versions, with rated currents ranging from 2A to 40A. The switching capacity is 10 kA, compliant with IEC/EN 60947-2, UL 489, and CSA C22.2 No. 5. All types of DC rated voltages are 125V per pole, compliant with UL 489/CSA C22.2 No. 5. According to IEC/EN 60947-2, the 2A version has a rated voltage of 220V per pole, while the 3A to 40A versions have a rated voltage of 250V per pole.

- GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) complies with the GFCI (UL943 standard: Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter for personal protection) required for service outlet circuits in control panels as specified by NFPA79. UL489 certification is also obtained. - NFPA79:2007 15.1.1.1(1) stipulates that receptacle (outlet) circuits installed outside the control panel for electric tools, testing equipment, etc., must be protected by GFCI. - NFPA79:2007 15.1.2 stipulates that receptacle (outlet) circuits installed inside and outside the control panel for maintenance purposes must be protected by GFCI. - UL508A requires that receptacle (outlet) circuits be protected by breakers that comply with UL489 standards.
