We would like to propose a solution regarding the welding crack troubles of the metal float in the float switch you are using. The main cause of welding cracks reported to us is that they are mostly due to ultrasonic micro-vibrations. When there is ultrasonic cleaning or devices emitting ultrasound nearby, these micro-vibrations can easily lead to welding cracks in the metal parts. As a countermeasure, we recommend replacing the float with one made of PP (polypropylene). Resin floats absorb micro-vibrations, preventing cracks from occurring.
