"Carburizing hardening" is a surface hardening heat treatment that involves introducing carbon into the surface of steel in a heated gas carburizing furnace, increasing the carbon concentration near the surface, and then performing quenching and tempering. Additionally, "carburizing nitriding hardening" is a treatment that enhances hardenability by adding a small amount of ammonia during the carburizing process to introduce nitrogen. 【Characteristics】 ■ Carburizing hardening and tempering - Improved surface pressure strength, wear resistance, and fatigue strength - Toughness is maintained ■ Carburizing nitriding hardening and tempering - Allows for lower temperature treatment compared to general carburizing hardening - Enables hardening of low carbon steels due to nitrogen (N) diffusion - Uniformity of surface hardness and hardened layer - Bright treatment is possible *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

"Gas soft nitriding" is a soft nitriding treatment method conducted in a gas atmosphere using a process, utilizing NH3 and CO2 as reaction gases. It is suitable for treatment of low carbon steel and alloy steel, providing excellent wear resistance and improving fatigue strength. It is difficult for scale to form, resulting in a good surface finish, and it is possible to eliminate the scale removal process. 【Characteristics】 ■ Tough wear resistance ■ Anti-galling and anti-seizing properties ■ Improved fatigue strength ■ Enhanced heat resistance ■ Improved corrosion resistance, etc. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

"Aus-tempering treatment" is a continuous heat treatment that imparts strong spring performance to high carbon steel (C: 0.6% or more) thin plate products (t: up to 2.0mm). After heating in a non-oxidizing atmosphere furnace to the austenite region (approximately 800°C to 900°C), it is held isothermally in the lower temperature range (approximately 300°C to 450°C) below the S-curve nose, and then cooled, which imparts a bainitic structure to the product. Due to extremely low thermal distortion and dimensional changes, as well as the attainment of good spring performance, it is widely used for thin plate springs and similar applications. [Characteristics] ■ Tough toughness and impact resistance ■ Reduction of thermal distortion and dimensional changes *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

"Isonite TF treatment" is a soft nitriding process conducted in a salt bath, which is an effective surface treatment for all iron-based metals. Since the treatment is performed at a relatively low temperature of 580°C, which is far below the quenching temperature of steel, it is very advantageous in terms of deformation and dimensional changes. The nitrogen and carbon elements generated by the reactions in the salt bath penetrate and diffuse into the workpiece, forming a compound layer (iron nitride) on the very surface, with a diffusion layer just beneath it. The diffusion layer significantly improves fatigue strength, with improvements of more than twice observed, especially in carbon steel. [Characteristics] ■ Tough wear resistance ■ Anti-galling and anti-seizing properties ■ Improved fatigue strength ■ Enhanced heat resistance ■ Improved corrosion resistance, etc. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

"Isonite SQP/QPQ treatment" is a composite treatment of TF processing, specifically designed to enhance corrosion resistance. By immersing the material in an AB bath immediately after TF processing, an oxide film is formed directly above the compound layer, allowing for higher corrosion resistance, improved surface roughness, and reduced bending and distortion without compromising the characteristics of Isonite TF treatment. Additionally, in terms of corrosion resistance, it has capabilities exceeding those of hard chrome plating, and this treatment alone can satisfy both surface hardening and rust prevention effects. [Characteristics] ■ Isonite SQ - By applying surface polishing after Isonite SQ treatment, a glossy black appearance and good surface properties can be achieved. ■ Isonite QPQ - By immersing again in the AB bath after Isonite SQP treatment, a dense oxide film is formed on the surface, enhancing corrosion resistance. - The glossy black appearance is excellent, increasing product value, and it can also be used for decorative products. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

"Isonite LS treatment" is an environmentally friendly salt bath soft nitriding/oxidation process. Similar to TF treatment, it generates a compound layer and a diffusion layer while simultaneously forming a composite oxide layer on the very surface just above the compound layer, enhancing various functions. Additionally, it achieves a thicker oxide layer compared to QPQ treatment, significantly improving sliding properties, seizure resistance, and corrosion resistance. It excels in aluminum melt loss resistance, making it effective for applications such as die casting molds. 【Characteristics】 ■ Strong wear resistance ■ Seizure resistance and anti-seizing properties ■ Improved fatigue strength ■ Enhanced heat resistance ■ Improved corrosion resistance, etc. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Our company applies high-hardness coatings such as TiN, TiCN, CrN, TiAlN, S-AH (multi-element nitride), and S-AX (composite treatment film) to the surfaces of metal products using the Arc Ion Plating (AIP) method. Additionally, we apply high-hardness DLC coatings to the surfaces of metal products using the Unbalanced Magnetron Sputtering (UBMS) method. DLC exhibits a low friction coefficient even on soft materials like aluminum and lead alloys, which are prone to adhesion, and it has excellent anti-adhesion properties. [Overview] ■ PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition): A physical vapor deposition method ■ DLC (Diamond Like Carbon): An amorphous carbon hard film primarily composed of C and H *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
