A food manufacturer has consulted us about wanting to ensure thorough pest control at their entrances and exits. Issues: 1. They want to use double doors at the entrances and exits to completely prevent insect intrusion. 2. Fully packaged solutions from other companies are expensive. 3. They want to keep the existing doors as much as possible to minimize costs during installation.

Free membership registrationThe top surface of the beverage tank at the dairy manufacturing company has shown signs of aging due to UV exposure. If the deterioration continues and the tank's sealing integrity is compromised, it could lead to foreign matter contamination incidents, and measures must be taken. Issues: 1. I want to line and reinforce the entire top surface with FRP, but the costs are very high. 2. Considering the risk of foreign matter contamination, we cannot leave the current situation as it is. 3. Dairy products easily absorb odors, so there are concerns about the impact of solvent odors.

Free membership registrationRegarding the introduction of silo equipment, we have also consulted about installation work and maintenance management after installation. Issues: 1. It is difficult for the equipment manufacturing company to secure personnel for maintenance inspection work. The costs of replacement parts and labor are significant, and we want to reduce the frequency as much as possible. 2. Especially when the manufacturing company is not located in a nearby prefecture, the costs for dispatching personnel for work are high.

Free membership registrationAt a food manufacturer, the cleaning of the drainage system was very difficult each time, with grease sticking stubbornly and not getting clean, which was a concern. Especially in the summer, odors would arise, prompting them to seek a solution. Issues: 1. It takes a lot of manpower and time, and they cannot achieve a thorough clean each time. Workers also dislike doing it because they get dirty. 2. Trash overflowing from the residue basket flows into the drainage, occasionally causing pipe blockages. 3. A large amount of water is used for cleaning, which is a waste of water costs. 4. Considering the burden on the environment and the wastewater treatment facilities, they do not want to use detergents or chemicals.

Free membership registrationThe interior of the pump casing has been worn due to years of erosion (fluid abrasion), so we have received a request to repair it while extending its lifespan. Issues: 1. Purchasing a new one is expensive. The drive unit, including the impeller, can be used without any problems. 2. The equipment can only be stopped for about a week. 3. Complete restoration of the shape is not necessary, but we would like to rebuild the worn areas as much as possible.

Free membership registrationWe received an inquiry from a customer in glass manufacturing who wants to manage the temperature of part of the manufacturing process. Issues: 1. Updating the air conditioning and temperature management for the entire factory would result in enormous initial and running costs. 2. Enclosing the relevant area with fixed partitions would reduce costs, but it would hinder the loading and unloading of products.

Free membership registrationIn the raw material transport line that performs high-speed pneumatic conveying, there is a problem with the short lifespan of hoses, and we have adopted wear-resistant hoses with ceramic beads embedded in the inner surface. While the lifespan of the hose body has been significantly extended by 2 to 3 times, localized wear at the connection points with fittings has become an issue. Issues: 1. The rubber section with embedded ceramic beads is lined on the inner surface of the hose up to the fitting mouth, causing the conveyed materials to come into contact with the rubber lining cross-section. The inner diameter of the rubber lining with embedded ceramic beads is smaller than that of the existing piping. 2. The conveyed materials that come into contact wear against the rubber section behind the ceramic beads, causing the ceramic beads to detach and exposing the connecting fittings. As a result, the lifespan of the connection points has become significantly shorter compared to the hose body. 3. By increasing the wear resistance near the connecting fittings, it is possible to extend the overall lifespan of the hose.

Free membership registrationIn a food factory, the hammer components of the grinder (hammer mill) had deteriorated due to wear, resulting in unstable grinding particle size. Issues: 1. The machine was purchased used, is of an old model, and cannot receive support or parts supply from the grinder manufacturer. 2. There are no part drawings available; only the worn parts exist. 3. The motor and the main cover are still functioning without any issues. 4. A single grinder uses 12 hammers (all of which are worn to a similar extent).

Free membership registrationThe mold for the container accidentally trapped a nut during pressing, creating unevenness on the surface of the mold, rendering it unusable. Since disposing of it and purchasing a new one is very expensive, we would like to consult about the possibility of repairing and reusing it. (The surface has also been treated with a surface treatment (hard anodizing)). Issues: 1. The new mold is very expensive (several million yen) and has a long lead time due to being from an overseas manufacturer. 2. Because it is made of aluminum, general welding processes are difficult. 3. It is necessary to address both the shape repair of the aluminum itself and the surface treatment.

Free membership registrationAfter acid washing and rinsing the printed circuit boards, the workpieces are passed through rolls arranged vertically for water removal. Before complete drying with warm air, it is necessary to remove as much moisture as possible to shorten drying time and reduce heater operating costs. We have been using general PVA sponge rolls, but we have been struggling with low moisture removal rates and hardening during drying. Issues: 1. We want a roll that has a consistently high water absorption rate. 2. The currently used PVA rolls become hard when dried, raising concerns about damaging the workpieces.

Free membership registrationIn casting manufacturers, molten metal is poured into sand molds, and after cooling, the molds are broken to extract the products. However, this process generates a large amount of dust. The dust not only deteriorates the working environment but also poses health risks to the workers. Issues: 1. Dust disperses into the surrounding area, causing contamination and significantly increasing the burden of cleaning tasks. 2. When dust is in the air, visibility worsens, which raises safety concerns during work. 3. Inhaling dust may have adverse effects on health.

Free membership registrationIn the manufacturing process of cardboard sheets (made of paper), plywood has been used for many years as a transport base for the finished cardboard sheets (in a laminated state). However, there were issues with weight, safety, and durability with the plywood base, and you were looking for an alternative product. Issues: 1. Since the base is for cardboard raw paper, the plywood is large and quite heavy, resulting in a significant burden during setup and cleanup. 2. Although it is transported on a roller conveyor, if the base bends, it can hinder the transfer between conveyors. 3. There have been past incidents where broken pieces of plywood or splinters have caused injuries to workers. 4. Plywood can crack, and its durability is not high at all.

Free membership registrationAt the waste recycling plant, many conveyor belts are in operation and running continuously. During regular maintenance work, all conveyor belts are inspected for predictive maintenance. Until now, inspection work has been requested from the conveyor manufacturer, but due to high labor costs and some dissatisfaction with the inspection items, we have received inquiries. Issues: 1. The inspections conducted by the conveyor manufacturer are based on uniform inspection items, which do not correspond to the characteristics of the line, leading to dissatisfaction. 2. General machinery installation contractors may have little experience, making it difficult to trust them with the work. 3. We would like any repair work that can be done on-site (such as replacing worn parts) to be carried out simultaneously as much as possible.
