Generally, the blowdown water from the boiler is around 150°C. By utilizing this waste heat for preheating the boiler feedwater, it assists in heating the boiler and contributes to energy savings. Until now, while discharging the hot air from the equipment with the furnace to the outside, the neighboring equipment was heated with steam, and as the room temperature dropped during winter, the required amount of steam increased, leading to higher steam costs. After implementing energy-saving measures, we used the plate-type gas/gas heat exchanger "HEATEX" to exchange heat between the hot air in the equipment with the furnace and the cold air in the molding equipment area, thereby reducing the heating costs of the steam unit heater.
