Are you practicing a method that is definitely warm in winter and too hot in summer? Without a doubt, the times have shifted from insulation to heat shielding.

To spend the summer comfortably, one must avoid strong sunlight and radiation (heat rays = electromagnetic waves). The heat that passes through the attic space in summer can be considered almost entirely radiation. There is no heat transfer due to downward convection. Additionally, there is no conduction through low-density air. It is not uncommon for roof materials to exceed 70°C and for the space to surpass 55°C. Typical insulation materials can prevent heat for a while, but unlike air spaces, they tend to accumulate a large amount of heat. We would like to introduce our remarkable energy-saving achievement of 89% efficiency. We completed the installation for ISOWA Corporation, a manufacturer of cardboard production machines. By the time they contacted us, the introduction of a "100 million yen large air conditioner" was already nearly decided. We repeatedly expressed our concerns about the wastefulness and requested to cancel the installation. Naturally, installing the air conditioner would incur annual electricity costs exceeding 10 million yen.
