Sankyo Manufacturing Co., Ltd. began selling the heavy load transport device 'LinerDrive' on January 25, 2023. LinerDrive is a linear motion device capable of transporting heavy items such as multi-axis robots and heavy jigs with high speed and precision. It comes in two models: the LRS350, which can transport up to 350 kg, and the LRS1000, which can handle up to 1000 kg. The basic rail length is 3 meters, and by combining it with an 1.8-meter extension rail, long strokes are possible. It features a unique cam mechanism for driving, which enhances durability and ease of maintenance, allowing for safe use. Sankyo Manufacturing Co., Ltd. will begin selling the "SCR2 Series" scrap cutter, which achieves high-speed and high-efficiency press lines, starting August 2. In recent years, with the high-speed production and thinning of motor cores, there have been issues with scrap cutting of skeleton materials that act as bottlenecks in high-speed production. This is due to the tendency for the skeleton material, fed from the mold via a "PUSH-PULL" feed, to bend or break during transport to the cutter because of instability. To address this, it is important to shorten the distance between the feeding device and the cutter. The SCR2 is a cam mechanism scrap cutter that achieves the world's thinnest specification of "160mm," preventing bending caused by instability in thin sheets during high-speed production, thus enabling high speed and durability. The RGV Series will be available for sale starting January 16, 2019, and the RGR Series will be available starting February 6, 2019.
