We were founded in 1943 in Komatsu City, Ishikawa Prefecture, as a textile processing manufacturer. Since then, we have been engaged in high-level manufacturing in collaboration with fashion and sports brands around the world, utilizing our unique dyeing technology and advanced post-processing techniques. Currently, our business scope extends beyond the textile field to various sectors, including architecture, civil engineering, vehicles, electronics, and environmental-related businesses. Under the slogan "Art in Technology," our goal is to combine cutting-edge technology with the craftsmanship and sensibility we have cultivated over the years to achieve even more remarkable manufacturing and create new markets. As a chemical material manufacturer that continues to create innovative new materials, we will continue to deliver surprises and inspiration. In October 2018, we changed our company name from "Komatsu Seiren Co., Ltd." to "Komatsu Matere Co., Ltd."

**[Apparel Fabric]** This is the core business of Komatsu Matere, which manufactures and sells advanced fabrics for various clothing materials, including fashion apparel that utilizes refined sensibilities and accumulated know-how, as well as sportswear and uniforms equipped with functional technologies that the company excels in. **[Material Fabric]** By applying the functional technologies cultivated since its founding, Komatsu Matere manufactures and sells high-performance fabrics across a wide range of fields, including interiors, vehicle interiors, medical and welfare applications, and electrical materials. Functional processing includes features such as anti-allergenic, chlorine-resistant, antiviral, deodorizing, moisture-permeable, waterproof, SR, antistatic, water-absorbing, quick-drying, thermal insulation, water-repellent, windproof, antibacterial, mosquito-repellent, deodorizing, high visibility, oil-repellent, stain-resistant, high tactile quality, and high durability, which can be applied to fabrics (textiles), PU leather, synthetic leather (synthetic materials), and thin film coatings. **[Advanced Materials]** We manufacture and sell environmentally symbiotic materials using advanced materials such as interlocking blocks made from recycled waste materials from dyeing factories and thermoplastic carbon fiber composites used as seismic reinforcement materials.
