In "stampable molding," thermoplastic fiber-reinforced plastic sheets are heated, set in a dedicated press machine, pressurized, and then removed after cooling to form. Kiso Kogyo Co., Ltd. offers contract molding for LFT injection molding. "LFT injection molding" is an injection molding method that uses pellets filled with continuous fibers arranged in parallel. Due to the fiber length being several millimeters, it has high impact strength, and because long fibers can fill into details, it is possible to enhance strength through the use of rib reinforcement. Thermoplastic composites such as GFRTP and CFRTP can be molded into resin products with excellent moldability and impact resistance using a stampable molding method. We have performed over 20 molding processes using GFPP (GF40%) material for automotive components and industrial materials. The weight ratio of PPGF is "38% less than steel!!" and "24% less than aluminum!!"

UNI sheet is a sheet-like composite material reinforced with continuous glass fiber mat and thermoplastic resin (polypropylene). The molding process uses a stamping method where the material is heated above the resin's melting point and then compressed and flowed. Due to the combination of glass fiber mat and PP resin suitable for molding, the material can conform to complex shapes. It is lightweight yet possesses high impact properties and rigidity.
