Satokin has independently developed the "casting technology" using sand casting. This technology involves pouring molten aluminum into aluminum pipes of the same material and melting point that are set in a sand mold, allowing them to bond (fuse) without melting the aluminum pipes. The key point is that the aluminum pipes are cast within the product. With this technological development, the need for hole processing for hydraulic control, which was required in conventional products, has been eliminated, enabling the manufacture of hydraulic control components that are low-cost, high-performance, and excellent in recyclability. Sand casting can accommodate everything from ultra-precision castings for small items (50g) to super-large castings (1500kg) used in machine tools and ships. Among these, we have a wealth of experience in sand casting in the 1-ton class, receiving high praise for our work. Additionally, among the many manufacturing methods available in sand casting, we employ self-hardening molds utilizing organic self-hardening sand regeneration treatment machines (alkali phenol). This method offers high self-hardening properties and excellent release, making it suitable for large sand castings. Furthermore, in addition to equipment that enables large sand casting, we have accumulated a wealth of technical know-how in casting technology through our extensive work in large sand castings. We utilize unique casting plans to deliver highly reliable products that meet demanding quality and technical requirements, including tightness and strict standards against casting defects, which are often considered challenging for large products. Notably, we have numerous achievements in high-pressure pumps and compressor components, actively tackling high-level sand castings, from complex external shapes to intricate internal shapes using multiple cores.

• Other machine elements

To efficiently cool drive components such as motors that become high temperature, we use aluminum castings and aluminum pipes with high thermal conductivity. *Typically, stainless steel pipes are used, but to enhance thermal conductivity, the use of aluminum pipes was proposed. The technology to cast aluminum pipes of the same material without melting them has been realized through Satokin's unique know-how. It is also possible to produce thin-walled and large castings, as well as stainless steel and aluminum pipes, which are difficult with sand casting.
