Our company has introduced the environmentally friendly "Hybrid Vehicle: TOYOTA Prius" as part of our efforts to conserve resources and energy. The Prius is an eco-friendly car that emits low levels of greenhouse gas CO2, helping to minimize its impact on the environment. From the perspective of ISO 14001, we reached this decision with the belief that it could improve our environmental performance. Four companies, including Brother, have produced commemorative items for Kawasaki City - "Tie pin" developed by the collective manufacturing power of Kawasaki - The tie pin made from the new material "Meramix," developed in collaboration with four small and medium-sized enterprises in Kawasaki City, has been completed with our company's electroless plating process. This tie pin uses the new material "Meramix," developed by Isuman J Co., Ltd., for its main body. The design processing of the slit part was done by Sanwa Creation Co., Ltd., which specializes in ultra-hard cutting, utilizing its cutting and polishing technology for difficult-to-machine materials. Our company, which excels in electroless plating for new materials, applied electroless plating to the decorative part (using bearing balls). Furthermore, the base part is coated with an antibacterial titanium apatite-containing paint, co-developed with Fujitsu through the city's intellectual property exchange by Sueyoshi Nameplate Manufacturing Co., Ltd.
