Nippon Insulation Co., Ltd. succeeded for the first time in the world in 1970 in manufacturing zonolite-type calcium silicate with a unique hollow secondary particle structure using a stirring method. Leveraging the excellent characteristics of zonolite crystals, Nippon Insulation Co., Ltd. has advanced the development of applications as thermal insulation and fireproofing materials, successfully achieving asbestos-free products in Japan for the first time in 1985. The company has also received numerous awards, including the Energy Conservation Vanguard, due to its outstanding energy-saving properties, and has participated in many national research projects, such as the Sunshine Project. Additionally, the company has a track record of registering overseas patents in 17 countries in Europe and the United States and has provided technology for the manufacturing of fireproofing and insulation materials to major building material manufacturers in those regions. Today, zonolite-type calcium silicate materials have become widely adopted globally as innovative materials.
