We would like to introduce a case comparing the setup work between conventional machines and the "NKSPFF" at our company. In the setup work with conventional machines, it was necessary to transport the main unit and inert gas cylinders close to the furnace and connect the power supply. We would like to introduce a case study in which we conducted quality improvement using the "NKSPFF series." At the time of the operational halt, we performed flux treatment on the "holding chamber," "outlet," and "communication port" using a feeder until the cleanliness was confirmed. In a 200kg/h melting furnace, we removed over 100kg of inclusions, and the amount of smoke generated during subsequent steady flux operations was reduced.
