It is a special coating with a hardness of 3500 Hv, making it very hard, and it also possesses heat resistance above 1100°C. By coating ultra-hard end mills and drills in particular, it significantly extends tool life in harsh cutting environments, such as high-speed machining of high-hardness materials with HRC over 50.

The "Plasma CVD NEO-C Coating" utilizes low fence plasma obtained in a vacuum to coat various products with DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) films that have excellent tribological properties and high adhesion. The treated products achieve a high-performance surface with a high hardness of around 2000Hv and excellent smoothness with a low friction coefficient. Additionally, the previously weak adhesion of DLC has been significantly improved, making it easier to process complex shapes, uneven surfaces of molds, and inner diameters of mechanical parts. It is effective in preventing adhesion of non-ferrous metals such as aluminum and copper, significantly improving the maintainability of non-ferrous metal press molds and sliding mechanical parts, while also enhancing durability. Furthermore, due to the reduction in friction resistance and improvement in anti-seizing properties, it can reduce the amount of lubricants and release agents used during processing, making it a surface modification technology that is also environmentally friendly.

Our PVD coating technology applies high-performance ceramic films with a thickness of less than 1/100 mm at low temperatures below 500°C, contributing to the wear resistance and machinability of molds, cutting tools, and machine parts. We offer various coatings with different characteristics to meet customer demands, such as improved wear resistance, corrosion resistance, sliding properties, and anti-galling measures. We have a proven track record, particularly in extending the lifespan of cutting tools (end mills, drills, inserts) and enhancing the durability of molds, parts, and jigs. Typical coatings include titanium coatings, chromium nitride, and a variety of other options.

Radical nitriding is a plasma nitriding method based on a new concept that was jointly developed by our company and Sumitomo Metal Mining Co., Ltd. It can form only a hardened layer (nitrided layer) within the metal surface while suppressing the roughness of the metal surface without creating a compound layer. Additionally, since masking is possible, treatment can be applied only to the necessary areas. This improves the wear resistance of molds, various machine parts, and tools.
