- It is possible to achieve a surface hardness of 800 HV or higher even with low carbon steel. - The amount of gas used is about 1/10 of that for gas nitriding. - There is a high resistance to temper softening. - The finish is better compared to carburizing and similar processes. - Corrosion resistance is better than that of carburizing.

• Processing Contract

◯ No grain boundary oxidation, and the finish surface is good. ◯ High concentration carburizing is possible. ◯ Carburizing into pores is possible. ◯ No CO2 emissions from furnace exhaust. ◯ Carburizing time is about half compared to gas carburizing. ◯ The amount of carburizing gas used is less than 1% compared to gas carburizing.

• Processing Contract

- The sulfide layer is relatively soft, improving initial compatibility during friction and exhibiting solid lubrication effects. - As a result, the sulfurized layer enhances compatibility and shows good seizure resistance and galling resistance. - For gears that require quiet operation, a reduction in gear noise can be achieved. - Gas soft nitriding of austenitic stainless steel is also possible.
