In the electrolytic polishing solution, a product (stainless steel) is used as the anode, and direct current is applied to electrochemically dissolve its surface at the micron level. At this time, due to the characteristics of the electrolytic polishing solution, the protruding areas of the metal are preferentially dissolved, resulting in a smooth surface. By applying electrolytic polishing, the passive film that stainless steel inherently possesses becomes even more robust, enhancing its corrosion resistance.
