At Hakodate Kokusai Hotel, in response to the increase in overseas guests and smartphone users, we have introduced a number of FXC's information outlet-compatible wireless access points, "AE1021," aimed at improving information services. We learned that this product can be simply installed within the information outlet, unlike conventional wireless access points that require standalone installation, thus preserving the aesthetics of hotel rooms and hallways. Additionally, since LAN wiring was already laid in each guest room, simply installing this product on the outlet plate helped to keep the implementation costs down. To reduce the burden of handling troubles and issues related to administrative and information systems at the Social Sports Association, we have introduced the "IT Maintenance Box" manufactured by FXC. The association has seen an increase in business processing via PCs, leading to a rise in the number of computers. Consequently, there has been a pressing need for a support system to resolve issues, including computer malfunctions, troubles with computer communications, and ensuring the security of personal information. Previously, we relied on the NPO Learning Development Research Institute for on-site support for IT operations and maintenance. However, we struggled to effectively communicate the specifics of the issues, which required multiple visits to confirm the phenomena and address them. We would like to introduce a case study of the implementation of FXC Corporation's WDM (LightEdge series). At the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT), the existing WDM devices had severe temperature characteristics, leading to frequent line outages. At Advanced Media Inc., FXC products were introduced as part of the new network construction during the office relocation. The challenges of the new network included redundancy and the gigabit Ethernet implementation of the internal network. At the top layer of the configuration, redundant routers were installed, and while searching for stable gigabit Ethernet-compatible devices to operate below them, the "FXC5024" and "FXC5048XG" were selected. At Kumamoto University, we have previously introduced a number of FXC L2 switches, but due to significant aging, a large-scale replacement has taken place this time. We would like to introduce a case where FXC-made media converters were adopted in the Miyawaka City regional intranet network configuration. By mounting the introduced media converters on the MCMRARK100 (rack mount), we enabled power redundancy and monitoring via SNMP.
