Stainless steel chains are widely used in environments that dislike rust and corrosion, under conditions that require no lubrication or cleaning. While stainless steel chains certainly boast excellent corrosion resistance, they also have the disadvantage of lower strength compared to standard chains. Therefore, we would like to introduce our original high-strength stainless steel chain, the SN specification. This product utilizes martensitic stainless steel that has undergone special heat treatment for the pins, bushes, and rollers, achieving high strength while also providing excellent wear resistance.

In a corrosive atmosphere, while considering wear due to rust and bending failures, components made of 18-8 stainless steel may be adopted; however, despite its excellent corrosion resistance, 18-8 stainless steel raises concerns regarding strength and can lead to early wear compared to 13Cr stainless steel. This led to the creation of the "SN specification." By applying special heat treatment to the sliding components (pins, bushes, rollers) of the conveyor chain, a specification was completed that maintains the strength of 13Cr stainless steel while enhancing corrosion resistance.
