Rohde & Schwarz, in collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., has completed the initial verification of the Search Space Set Group Switching (SSSG) defined in 3GPP Rel. 17. This 5G NR feature, aimed at reducing device power consumption, has now been officially submitted for RAN5 verification. This milestone supports the pathway from standardization to compliance testing and commercial use, while also providing insights gained from actual verification back into the standardization process.

Rohde & Schwarz's MXO series oscilloscopes are now supported by Chroma's Power Conversion Device Automated Test System Model 8000 (ATS 8000). This integration addresses the increasingly complex testing requirements in high-power, multi-channel applications, including power systems used in AI data center infrastructure. Technology companies MAHLE and Rohde & Schwarz have jointly developed a technological application that ensures reliable testing of sensors after repairs of the latest advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). At the core of the new platform is a solution that combines MAHLE Lifecycle and Mobility's TechPRO Digital ADAS 2.0 Extra calibration system with Rohde & Schwarz's R&S RadEsT radar tester. Until now, there has been no standardized measurement procedure established for testing ADAS sensors after accidents or repairs, particularly after the repair of body parts. MAHLE and Rohde & Schwarz are addressing this challenge. The new solution is suitable for a wide range of users, including automotive repair shops, service centers, automotive manufacturers, insurance companies, government agencies, and inspection organizations. In the future, it can also be used for static inspections of ADAS sensors during regular vehicle inspections. This jointly developed solution was presented at TÜV MobiCon 2026 held in Berlin on June 11, 2026.
