Event Dates: June 16 (Wednesday) and June 17 (Thursday), 2021, 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM Venue: Marine Messe Fukuoka, Our Booth S-18 - Despite the COVID-19 situation, we sincerely thank everyone who visited us during the event, as we had more attendees than expected. We have summarized the exhibits and related topics as follows. - Anti-splash and shatter prevention sheets: Currently used primarily for protecting highway signage, we showcased a new application example from February this year, where it was implemented in residential windows, which received positive feedback. - Phosphorescent materials: We displayed various phosphorescent materials with printed embellishments and reflective phosphorescent materials (NETIS specifications). We introduced a new budget-friendly P-3 type and a flexible reflective phosphorescent material (under development) that can be wrapped around cylindrical poles, which attracted attention. For the phosphorescent sealing material, we exhibited samples in small tube containers (under development: acrylic-based), which seem to have expanding applications as marking agents for home improvement stores and road construction. - For camping applications, we showcased peg mark products utilizing reflective phosphorescent end materials, which were well received. - Antibacterial and others: We received numerous inquiries about door knob components made with the antibacterial material Dr. CU and a newly launched pressure-sensitive wallpaper (coated with photocatalyst after installation).

Additionally, a report from the Institute of Biology at the State University of Campinas in Brazil, an international research institution, showed similar results for the coronavirus MHV, and a test report from the University of Toulouse in France (targeting coronavirus type 229E) also yielded similar findings. Domestic testing institutions have conducted antibacterial tests (against E. coli and Staphylococcus aureus), and we are currently working on obtaining the SIAA mark (aimed at promoting safe and reliable antibacterial and antifungal processed products).
