The JIS standard "JIS Q 14001," which corresponds to the environmental management system standard "ISO 14001:2026" (2026 edition of ISO 14001), was issued on August 20 (Thursday). Organizations registered with JICQA for ISO 14001 will receive information regarding the transition from the 2015 edition via email to their designated contact person. The official Facebook account of ISO (International Organization for Standardization) announced on August 5, 2026, that the quality management system standard "ISO 9001:2026" (2026 edition of ISO 9001) will be issued on September 16 (Wednesday). Regarding ISO 9001, the final draft international standard (FDIS) was issued on May 14, and voting was conducted. After the issuance of ISO 9001:2026, the JIS standard for ISO 9001, JIS Q 9001, will also be revised. For organizations registered with ISO 9001 through JICQA, we will provide information regarding JIS Q 9001 and the transition from the 2015 edition via email to the designated contact person as needed.
