SmartProcess -BR is a comprehensive production management system focused on on-site process management and progress management, including production control, cost management, sales management, and inventory management. It can be started immediately without complex master registrations. It supports the import of EDI data, performance input via tablets, and performance input using barcode readers and handheld terminals. "SmartProcess-MS" is a system designed for customers engaged in parts processing for forecast production and repetitive order production, allowing them to manage processes and inventory by monitoring work-in-progress and finished goods inventory at each stage. Based on confirmed and preliminary information, finished goods inventory, and work-in-progress inventory, it performs inventory allocation and required quantity calculations, determining the necessary production quantity and eliminating waste from overproduction. Additionally, some functions such as sales management can be implemented as options. We would like to introduce a case developed and built by Zeal Corporation. Using data from our production management system (SmartProcess series) and BI tools, we constructed a factory dashboard. Here is an example of a "andon system" that has been established. We connected die-casting machines (production equipment) to the internal network (IoT), obtained production information directly from the equipment, stored it in a database, and displayed the operational status on large monitors installed at the site for multiple machines. We will introduce a case study of a system for electronic ordering and process management utilizing the web. Orders that were previously exchanged via FAX and email are now made available to partner factories through a web browser, allowing for simultaneous responses to delivery dates, input of actual performance, and management of process progress.
