This is a custom-made version of our standard 3-column, 2-tier valuables locker. By changing the lower section of the standard model to an open shelf, it has been tailored to meet the customer's requirements. Since it will be used in a changing room, we have specified a wood grain exterior this time, which we believe will provide a sense of luxury for the customer. The lock is set to a cylinder lock, but it is also possible to specify other types such as a combination lock.

I visited a customer in Tokyo, held a meeting, and made layout proposals and specifications. Since it was for a large professional rugby player, we increased the standard size of our sports locker (W700×D700) by 50mm, making it W750×D750. We received a layout diagram and incorporated it into the design, handling the installation as well. We were able to finish it stylishly with red lockers representing the fiery automotive group.

We produced this at the request of government offices in Osaka Prefecture. With the recent spread of tablet education, we have received many requests for tablet storage cabinets from government offices nationwide. This time, we manufactured a total of five units with a single tier and adjustable features for a nursery. The shape is square and compact, making it visually appealing. The tablet storage cabinets can also be made in two tiers, with casters, and with size modifications. Additionally, since our company manufactures custom-made products, we can accommodate detailed requests regarding the number and width of clamps and acrylic partition panels.

We delivered personal lockers with windows to a certain climbing gym in Kanagawa Prefecture. Since they will be installed under the reception counter, we manufactured them in a two-tier type with a height of H950mm, divided into three columns and two columns, allowing for flexibility in the installation location. The lockers are larger than standard personal lockers by one compartment to accommodate attaché cases and larger bags, and the windows allow for easy visibility to check if items are inside or if anything has been left behind.

As a result of discussions since July of last year regarding whether to repair the existing lockers or to manufacture new ones for replacement, it has been decided to replace the lockers in conjunction with the renovation work of the locker room within the stadium, and we received an order for new production. In response to the customer's requests, we manufactured the lockers with different specifications from our original products, including sizes, colors, pipes, and mesh. We also produced shoe cases separately from the lockers. Our company also handled the delivery and installation work.

Large door panels are welded by robots, and then assembled by craftsmen using argon welding. Choosing the appropriate welding method is crucial to completing the product. We received a direct request from a temple priest in Osaka. By customizing a standard locker, we were able to create a simple and reasonably priced niche locker for ashes. After receiving an inquiry from the customer, we held a meeting at our office. They requested a gold paint finish, and we painted it in a color that we handle. Before installation, I was excited to see the wonderful columbarium. They were very satisfied with the final result.

We received a request to include a lid so that trash, empty cans, and PET bottles can be sorted and deposited into the stainless steel double-opening door structure, and we have realized this product. Since it will be installed in a limited space on the premises, we asked in advance about the size of the trash bins that customers would store inside the box and manufactured it based on our proposal for the minimum necessary dimensions. Additionally, since the box will be installed on sloped stone tiles, we included adjustable feet with a wide range of motion, allowing for level adjustment and enabling a smart installation.

In response to the request to add a valuables locker inside the existing changing lockers, we visited the client to discuss the specifications. First, we manufactured three separate upper shelves to connect the valuables boxes, which the customer then secured with screws. After that, we produced 468 valuables boxes and had them secured to the upper shelves. After the installation was completed, we received a courteous thank-you message from them.

Generally, if the pressing pressure is strong, a circular mark will appear, and if it is a single press, a crescent-shaped mark will appear. 'Burr'... Refers to the small curled parts that occur on the sheared edge of the workpiece. If they remain on areas that can be touched, they pose a risk of injury, so they need to be removed. 'Clearance'... Refers to the gap in the punch hole. If the clearance is excessive, twisting or deformation can occur in the punched area. Typically, a width of more than twice the thickness of steel or aluminum material, and more than four times for stainless steel, is required. 'Knockout'... A processing method where the workpiece is punched out to the thickness of the sheet, but a part is left connected to the base material. It should be designed for easy removal on-site as needed. A dedicated knockout die (usually round) is required. 'Dowel Projection'... Refers to the process of adding spherical protrusions to the workpiece. Nesting... Refers to the layout of sheet workpiece cutouts directed to NC processing machines via CAM.

[Nara City Konoike Athletic Stadium Project] Located to the east of our company in Higashi-Osaka, just over Mount Ikoma is Nara Prefecture, where the famous Konoike Athletic Stadium is situated. We were responsible for the delivery and installation of the locker rooms. We received an order for a total of 46 player lockers of two types from a construction company for the Konoike Athletic Stadium in Nara City, Nara Prefecture. This will be a modified specification of our standard sports lockers. The paint colors are differentiated for male and female lockers, and we successfully secured the order after discussions via phone and email.

Steel, represented by steel plates and stainless steel plates, non-ferrous metals represented by aluminum and copper along with their alloys, and non-metals represented by synthetic resin boards and fiber materials are included. In the "sheet metal processing industry," steel, particularly steel plates and stainless steel plates, is commonly used, so I will elaborate on those below. Iron is the most widely used material across various applications. Although it has the disadvantage of being "prone to rust" compared to stainless steel and others, this can be mitigated through surface treatments such as painting or plating. Its advantages include high material availability (easy to obtain) and low cost. Common types of iron used in sheet metal processing industries like ours include SPCC (cold-rolled steel sheet: commonly known as Migaki), SPHC (hot-rolled mild steel sheet: commonly known as pickled and black skin), SECC (electro-galvanized steel sheet: commonly known as Bond), and SS materials represented by SS400, among others.

This is a work that achieves a balance between a robust body made of zinc-coated steel plates for the locker and ease of use by utilizing aluminum materials for the interior of the locker. We designed four types of custom bodies to fit the columbarium, arranged 30 units neatly, and finally installed panels to cover gaps, resulting in an aesthetically pleasing piece. The installation was in Amagasaki City, Hyogo Prefecture. Through repeated meetings with the client and checking the site conditions before the columbarium construction, we were able to smoothly complete the delivery route and wiring. We also ensured earthquake resistance with anchor fixing. By painting everything in a glossy gold color, we were able to create a luxurious piece.

We have decided to increase the dimensions of the main body by 50mm in width, depth, and height to accommodate school children's backpacks, and to produce a total of 30 units in 5 different door colors, with 6 units of each color. We visited an office building in Umeda, Osaka, for delivery with our own team members. We received an order for our custom-made lockers for the new office building of Zen-Ei Co., Ltd. Initially, we received an inquiry via email from the president, who sent us the layout drawings of the new office. We considered the dimensions to fit within the space, and ultimately, we were able to make it fit perfectly by using a slightly smaller custom size in one location. Since it was in Mie Prefecture, we handled the delivery and installation ourselves. We were pleased to see that the president and the employees were happy with the result. Nesting refers to the process of combining and arranging multiple parts from steel materials. Its purpose is to reduce material waste. Specifically, how can we improve material yield and achieve efficient machine operation? In the era when turret punch presses were the main machinery, steel was purchased in sketch material sized to fit each part, and it was common to process each piece individually. However, as laser-turret punch combination machines became the mainstay, the method shifted to purchasing standard-sized materials for processing. Consequently, CAM software transitioned from AP100 to Dr. ABE, giving rise to the culture of nesting. However, using standard sizes for each product as in the past resulted in poor yield, leading to increased material costs and a tendency for product costs to rise.

We received an order for 650 manga boxes for the new university library. We are very pleased that our proposal for usability was adopted. For production, we asked a local processing company to handle the metal parts, and collaborated with our company's sheet metal components, while conducting painting and assembly work in-house. By carrying out assembly and packaging work systematically on the production line, we were able to proceed smoothly.

The painting, which has a significant impact on appearance, is directly linked to quality. What challenges need to be addressed and how should we tackle them? In establishing our company's greatest feature, the "integrated production system," conducting painting in-house has become a very important factor. Particularly, sheet metal processing companies that have their own painting facilities are relatively few, making this a significant strength for us. By promoting production that does not burden the painting process, we are enhancing our technical level. Specifically, by eliminating the need for putty and focusing on welding finishes, we establish standards to ensure quality with the minimum necessary energy by confirming what level of finish is required for each painting method and coordinating between the welding and painting processes.

What kind of technologies and design development efforts are necessary to safely and efficiently produce products that meet customer needs? Since our founding, we have been involved in the design and manufacturing of custom lockers, steel furniture, and other box-type enclosures, and the blueprint data and know-how we have accumulated are substantial. For example, in lockers, we often use steel plates weighing between 0.7 to 1.0 tons, with heights of 1790 or 1600 mm, while in control panels and distribution boards, we frequently see weights of 2.3 tons or 1.6 tons.
