We have delivered the first domestic tunnel lighting fixtures used for sign lighting and pace maker lights on the Shin-Meishin Expressway (from Takatsuki JCT/IC to Kobe JCT). To resolve and alleviate issues such as collision accidents and traffic congestion caused by falling objects while driving on the expressway, as well as the unintended deceleration that occurs when entering a tunnel, we developed a product equipped with functions not found in conventional tunnel lighting, making it the first of its kind in Japan, and delivered it to the Shin-Meishin Expressway. ● Sign Lighting Sign lighting refers to tunnel lighting that shines white but flashes red in the event of a vehicle fire, and flashes yellow during abnormal occurrences such as accidents, falling objects, or breakdowns, alerting drivers. This allows drivers to operate their vehicles with peace of mind. ● Pace Maker Light The pace maker light is a tunnel lighting that shines white but lights up green, with light flowing in the direction of travel.
