This is a fiber optic extender that transmits 1-channel analog video (NTSC) and 2-channel analog audio (L/R) in one direction. There are models that can transmit up to 300m with single-core multimode and standard 25km or a maximum of 60km with single-core single mode. The video can be transmitted at a level of 1.0Vp-p at 75Ω, with a bandwidth of up to 8MHz, allowing for transmission while maintaining high quality that is hard to believe for analog video. Additionally, the frequency range for audio is unusually wide for this type of equipment, supporting between 20Hz and 20kHz. This is a 10GBASE-T media converter from Transition Networks, which can be used as an extension device for connections between 10G servers or 10G switches, or to connect a 10G server located far from a 10G switch. The TP side uses a standard RJ-45 connector and is compatible with both UTP and STP, and can connect with Cat6a compliance. The fiber optic extension uses an open slot type that allows the insertion of SFP+ modules. You can use the various 10G SFP+ optical modules (transceivers) offered by the company or SFP+ modules from other manufacturers that comply with MSA.
