Piab's KSG series "Kenos Sack Gripper" is suitable for handling large bags. It can accommodate various shapes, weights, and materials of bags. This specialized system, tailored for diverse bag handling applications, was developed based on years of expertise cultivated in the field of vacuum technology. By incorporating Piab's original vacuum generator, the COAX cartridge, the KSG series achieves high flexibility and reliability. Additionally, it is also possible to use an external electric pump as a vacuum source.

Achieve depalletization of cardboard and mesh pallets with a single hand!

The Kenos Gripper series from Piab has fulfilled numerous requests for handling "cardboard and pallets with one hand." However, due to the limited adhesive surface of plastic pallets, it was not possible to meet all requests. The KENOS KVGL.1000.300.N405.CVM.2S4.SHXXX features a foam section that adheres to cardboard, while the claw parts at both ends securely hold the pallet. Particularly, due to the rapidly growing highly information-oriented society, the power demand of global AI data centers is expected to double from the 2024 level, surpassing Japan's total electricity consumption. In the future, to achieve a rich highly information-oriented society while maintaining carbon neutrality, securing a cheap and stable power supply is essential, and energy conservation in data centers will become the most important challenge. Against this backdrop, two-phase liquid immersion cooling technology, which can significantly reduce power input associated with cooling while achieving high cooling performance, is attracting attention. In this lecture, we will discuss efficient cooling technologies for data centers, evaluated based on cooling performance (air cooling/liquid cooling/liquid immersion technology), and outline the potential and technical challenges of liquid immersion cooling technology in particular.
