We will be exhibiting new products and technologies at the 38th NePCON Japan! 〇Industrial Equipment Division APT-1600FD Dual-Side Flying Probe Tester A flagship model that allows simultaneous inspection of both sides by placing probe heads on the top and bottom of the board. Using OPC-UA (OPC Unified Architecture), our unique software links with your MES (Manufacturing Execution System) to collect and manage operational information in real-time (first-time exhibit). 〇RF Division RFID × IoT Data Service "RFID Work Performance Collection System" Data from IC tags can be sent to the cloud via MQTT just by placing them, enabling data collection. The collected data is visualized through a dashboard function, achieving "visualization of work performance." Since the reader-writer is autonomous, there is no need for a control PC or software development for both HF and UHF bands. Record management of items taken out with just a touch "Item Management System" Utilizing IC tags to reliably record the history of items taken out and returned, preventing omissions and errors in ledger entries, and supporting early detection of forgotten returns or losses. Efficient inventory management is possible through bulk reading with RFID handheld devices. Many more exhibits are planned.

Exhibiting at Nepcon 2024 from January 24! Achieving interoperability between industrial equipment and MES systems!

OPC UA (OPC Unified Architecture) is an open international standard developed for safe and reliable data exchange in industries such as industrial automation. It was announced by the OPC Foundation in 2008 and later standardized as IEC62541. It allows for secure and highly reliable data exchange across different types of devices, operating systems, and manufacturers, making it recommended as the standard communication for Industrie 4.0 and increasingly adopted worldwide. Additionally, it is aligned with the international standard for PLCs, IEC61131-3, which provides the advantage of reliably exchanging information from the manufacturing site with higher-level monitoring control systems and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). In response to this trend, Takaya has prepared an option to equip the APT series of flying probe testers with an OPC UA server. We are working to promote the spread of industrial IoT standards that bridge FA equipment and IT.

Programming for FPGAs and special performance tests such as BST can be handled with a flying probe tester.

This is an option that equips the underside operating axis of the APT-1600FD series with a dedicated fixture lifting mechanism. The "Mechanical Stitching Method" by Nichinichisui Road Machinery Co., Ltd. is a new technique that allows for the repair of metal cracks without the application of heat. By using special bolts and reinforcement plates, cracks are physically removed, and repairs are made without causing any thermal impact to the base material. Repairs can be carried out in environments where open flames cannot be used. What is an Air Leak Tester? An "Air Leak Tester" is a device that pressurizes the inside (or outside) of a sealed workpiece with air and determines the presence of leaks based on pressure changes. When a master with no leaks and a workpiece with leaks are pressurized, the pressure on the workpiece side decreases, creating a pressure difference between the two. By measuring this pressure difference, the presence of leaks can be determined. Generally, differential pressure air leak testing is widely used, but Fukuda also offers products that utilize direct pressure leak testing and flow meters according to the leak rate, in addition to differential pressure leak testers. Since the air leak tester uses air as the measurement medium, it incurs no running costs and is environmentally friendly.
