We would like to introduce a case where a floating floor method was applied in the audience hall of a concert arena. In this facility, there are nearby apartments, schools, and hospitals, and if problems become apparent after completion, it could hinder operations. There were challenges in verifying and predicting vibration isolation effects in advance. Therefore, we designed and examined the project according to the site conditions, quantitatively predicting the vibration isolation effects through desk studies. We also provided on-site support during construction. Introducing a case where a high vibration isolation effect was achieved using a gel floating floor!

We would like to introduce a case study applying floating floor construction methods at a fitness (dance studio). The facility was concerned about vibration transmission to the hotel within the same building, and due to height restrictions for the new building, it was necessary to reduce the floor height to secure the number of guest room floors for the hotel. Therefore, we implemented height reduction by embedding coil springs into the floating floor and conducted on-site vibration measurements to confirm the vibration isolation effect after construction. In this factory, traffic vibrations from a nearby main road were occurring, leading to challenges in ensuring manufacturing quality and necessitating a high level of vibration isolation.
