LONGi, Jiaxing factory, awarded the "Climate Lighthouse Factory Model Award."
LONGi has been recognized as the first in the solar power industry to achieve the "Lighthouse Factory + Zero Carbon Factory" certification at the "Shanghai Climate Week 2025" to be held in April 2025, with its Jiaxing factory in Zhejiang Province, China, receiving the "Climate Lighthouse 2025 Model Award." In addition to the WEF's "Lighthouse Factory" certification, the factory has also obtained carbon-neutral certification based on ISO 14068. By utilizing automation, IIoT, big data, and 5G technology, it has advanced production and achieved decarbonization through the use of renewable energy and carbon credits. This has established a smart and sustainable manufacturing model that involves the entire supply chain, with expectations for spillover effects into other industries.
Furthermore, the Jiaxing factory promotes the use of renewable energy through the installation of rooftop solar power facilities and the utilization of Green Energy Certificates (GEC). With advanced energy management and environmentally conscious operations, it has set a new standard for decarbonized factories that combine practicality and sustainability.
