The "Metal Injection Molding" method is a processing technique that creates metal parts in the desired shape by mixing powdered metal with a binder and injecting it into a mold. It excels in producing fine thin-walled shapes with thicknesses ranging from 0.2 mm to 5 mm. It can accommodate millimeter orders and demonstrates properties equivalent to those of melted materials, such as torsion and bending. With a density of over 95%, the pores take on a round, independent shape, resulting in excellent mechanical strength. During the binder debinding process, high-speed debinding and sintering are performed to minimize the alteration and deformation of the metal powder. Various conditions such as vacuum, reducing atmosphere, inert atmosphere, and high-pressure atmosphere can be precisely controlled, allowing for sintering processes suitable for each type of metal. It offers high freedom of shape and can significantly reduce lead time, costs, and labor. 【Cost Reduction Example】 The part in the thumbnail is a CG manifold that was previously made by machining two parts and then welding them together. Additionally, due to the special material Inconel 625, it was sourced from overseas processing companies, making it a quite high-cost part in the past. However, by creating it as a single molded piece, we achieved a cost reduction of up to 80% and improved strength. The Hyper CLT Sheet is a civil engineering sheet that utilizes CLT (Cross-Laminated Timber) stacked in an orthogonal direction. It can be used in various locations such as temporary roads, access routes, heavy machinery work yards, and material storage areas. The 5×10 version weighs approximately 230 kg, making it relatively lightweight and easy to install, remove, and relocate. Additionally, it offers environmental benefits such as reducing glare and metallic sounds typical of wood, as well as CO2 fixation. Furthermore, it can be proposed for the use of new technologies in public works as a **registered technology with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism "TH-250021-A."** Through this press release, we aim to expand the new wooden lightweight sheet that combines wood, NETIS, civil engineering, and CLT to more construction sites.
