■What is an Axial Gap Motor? An axial gap motor is a high-efficiency, high-torque electric motor that has a structure where the magnetic flux flows in the axial direction. The stator and rotor are arranged in a disk shape facing each other, and the magnetic flux flows in the axial direction, exhibiting performance characteristics different from conventional radial motors. ■Principle Structure In an axial gap motor, the stator coil and rotor magnet are arranged in a planar configuration, and torque is generated by the flow of magnetic flux in the axial direction. The catabolism of branched-chain amino acids (BCAA) is important for the energy metabolism of the whole body, including skeletal muscle, and abnormalities in this process have been noted to be associated with various metabolic diseases. The BCKDH complex, which is responsible for the rate-limiting step of BCAA catabolism, is regulated by the reversible phosphorylation of the E1α subunit by BDK and PPM1K.
