In recent years, there has also been progress in End-to-End approaches where AI learns integratively from recognition to control. While commercial applications of unmanned taxis and autonomous trucks are advancing mainly in the United States and China, efforts in Japan remain at the demonstration stage. Moreover, the spread of autonomous driving is changing the form of mobility provision from "ownership" to "service utilization," which is also impacting the nature of financial services. With the expansion of business models based on operational data and utilization rates, the forms of involvement of financial institutions are expected to diversify.
