[Key Lecture Content]
The lecture will first explain the challenges surrounding the defense industry, represented by low profit margins, prior to the creation of the three security documents in December 2022. It will then outline the various measures related to the defense industry included in the security documents formulated in December 2022, as well as the overview of the "Defense Production Base Strengthening Act" enacted in June of the same year, to help attendees understand the improvements made. Additionally, in light of the lessons learned from the ongoing war in Ukraine, which has lasted over four years, the lecture will discuss the remaining challenges and directions for solutions that should be incorporated into the new security documents to be formulated in December this year, particularly regarding how to urgently establish sustained combat capabilities such as ammunition for a prolonged conflict, as well as issues related to the transfer of defense equipment.
