The issue of economic security for securing raw materials, starting with important minerals, has brought attention to the Circular Economy (CE). However, CE is not just that; it is a necessary condition for building a sustainable society and also indicates a direction for future manufacturing. In this lecture, after organizing the basic concepts of CE, I will explain the future direction of manufacturing indicated by CE, focusing on corporate collaboration through circular providers, environmentally conscious design, business models centered on value provision, and utilizing information, while providing concrete examples.
