Notice of Participation in the TECHNO-FRONTIER 2026 Thermal Design and Countermeasure Technology Exhibition in Tokyo

ALMEDIO INC. ALMEDIO INC.
We will be exhibiting at the "Thermal Design and Countermeasure Technology Exhibition" held at Tokyo Big Sight. We will introduce various samples and properties of our carbon nanofibers (CNF) blended with different resins. We will display extruded rods made of CNF-blended PEEK and their processed products, allowing you to see the actual items while discussing material properties and applications. Our conductive CNF (high dispersion) ALP-NK1 (550 W/mK) has also been added to our product lineup, and we will propose materials tailored to customer needs, starting with heat dissipation applications. Additionally, we will showcase flexible conductive paints with high elongation and high conductivity blended with CNF. As a business model for our nanomaterial business, we offer sales of CNF powder and prototype sales of resin blends (pellets and liquid resins) according to customer requests. Furthermore, we will introduce various silicon materials, including silicon monoxide, which is gaining attention as electrode materials for high-capacity lithium-ion secondary batteries, as well as magnesium balls. We welcome various requests regarding compounds, alloys, purity, particle size, and shapes, so please feel free to stop by our booth for consultations. We sincerely look forward to your visit.

Thermal management and static electricity prevention using carbon nanofibers for semiconductors.

Contains carbon nanofibers for heat resistance and static electricity prevention.

Carbon nanofibers (CNF) are functional fillers that form a uniform conductive network in resins due to their excellent dispersibility, enabling stable performance. This contributes to improved thermal conductivity as a thermal management solution in electronic components, as well as effective electrostatic discharge performance required in FOUPs (Front Opening Unified Pods) for semiconductor transport applications. As a high-performance material, it helps solve challenges in a wide range of electrical and semiconductor fields. 【Application Scenarios】 - Strength enhancement and electrostatic discharge applications for FOUPs (semiconductor wafer transport containers) - Various resin components within semiconductor manufacturing equipment (trays, cassettes, guide parts, etc.) - Packaging materials and trays for electronic components - Heat dissipation components for electronic parts and enclosures (thermal management applications) 【Benefits of Implementation】 - Reduced risk of particle adhesion due to electrostatic discharge performance - Reduced performance variation due to excellent dispersibility - Lower risk of device damage from static electricity - Efficient thermal management enabled by improved thermal conductivity

Carbon Nanofibers (CNF) for Electronic Devices

Improved thermal conductivity! CNF enables metal alternatives.

In the electronics industry, effective heat dissipation measures are required due to the increasing density of devices. Materials with low heat dissipation performance can lead to a decline in device performance and potential failures. Our carbon nanofibers (CNF) are easy to disperse at high concentrations and can enhance thermal conductivity when added to resins, thereby improving heat dissipation performance. Metal alternatives can also be considered. 【Application Scenarios】 - Heat dissipation sheets and films 【Benefits of Implementation】 - Improved device performance - Extended product lifespan

Improvement of thermal conductivity and electrical conductivity - Carbon Nanofiber (CNF)

Multifunctional high-performance composites with high electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, strength, elasticity, sliding properties, and electromagnetic wave absorption, achieved by blending with high-concentration, easily dispersible CNF.

Our company develops, produces, and sells carbon nanofibers (CNF), which are expected to be utilized in a wide range of industries. These are milled fibers with an aspect ratio of diameter = 200–800 nm and length = 1–20 µm. The diameter of carbon nanotubes (CNT) ranges from 0.4 to 50 nm, and they are known to easily aggregate; however, our carbon nanofibers (CNF) are characterized by their ease of high-concentration addition and dispersion. By adding CNF in high concentrations to resins, it is possible to enhance electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, rigidity, lubricity, and electromagnetic wave absorption, making it feasible to consider alternatives to metals. ■ Main Applications - Conductive additives for lithium-ion batteries - Static electricity prevention applications, etc. - Heat dissipation sheets and films - High-strength and high-elasticity applications - Materials for 3D printers (improving the strength of printed products) - Electromagnetic wave absorption and reflection suppression in high-frequency bands - Corrosion resistance Compounding processing with thermoplastic resins (such as PP, PE, PA, PBT, PPS, POM, PEEK, etc.) is also possible. *For more details, please refer to the PDF data available by downloading the catalog.

Reinforcement carbon nanofiber

Milled fibers with a diameter of 200 to 800 nm and a length of 1 to 15 µm, having a fibrous aspect ratio.

This is a milled fiber with a diameter of 200 to 800 nm and a length of 1 to 15 µm, exhibiting a fibrous aspect ratio. The diameter of carbon nanotubes (CNT) ranges from 0.4 to 50 nm, and they are known to be prone to aggregation; however, this carbon nanofiber (CNF) is characterized by its ease of high-concentration addition and dispersion. By adding CNF in high concentrations to resin, it is possible to enhance electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, rigidity, lubricity, and shielding properties, making it feasible to consider alternatives to metals. Additionally, by utilizing thermoplastic resins, it can be molded at high speed and become a sustainable composite material. As a powder filler, it has a thermal conductivity of over 100 W/mK and a volume resistivity of less than 10^-5 Ωm.

[Seminar] The Current State of Autonomous Driving Technology and Challenges in Social Implementation

  • NEW
  • SEMINAR_EVENT

[Speaker] Mr. Takumi Aida, Analyst, Advanced Technology Lab, Japan Research Institute, Ltd. [Key Lecture Content] Autonomous driving technology has developed primarily around the enhancement of vehicle control based on a rule-based approach using various sensing data such as cameras, radar, and LiDAR. In recent years, there has also been progress in End-to-End approaches where AI learns integratively from recognition to control. While commercial applications of unmanned taxis and autonomous trucks are advancing mainly in the United States and China, efforts in Japan remain at the demonstration stage. Moreover, the spread of autonomous driving is changing the form of mobility provision from "ownership" to "service utilization," which is also impacting the nature of financial services. With the expansion of business models based on operational data and utilization rates, the forms of involvement of financial institutions are expected to diversify. This lecture will organize an overview of autonomous driving technology and its latest trends, and, based on domestic and international use cases, will consider the challenges for social implementation and strategies for promoting utilization, including the nature of financial services.
