[Key Lecture Content]
The business environment surrounding energy and electricity is undergoing significant changes due to advancements in GX, DX, and AI, geopolitical risks, inflation, and aging infrastructure. In this lecture, we will explain how to interpret these environmental changes, develop strategies, and concretize them into management plans, using Kansai Electric Power Group's "Kanden Transformation toward 2040" as a case study. While tracing the process of translating strategies based on changes in the business environment into management plans, we will introduce how, as a management planning officer at Kansai Electric Power, we have thought from various perspectives and engaged in discussions with relevant departments and management to formulate management plans, providing insights for considering one's own management plans.
