"Mesh (discrete data)" handled by CAE analysis and 3D scanners, and "NURBS (continuous surfaces)" required by CAD/CAM. In traditional reverse engineering, a significant amount of time and manual work (patchwork) was spent on converting these two types of data. ThinkDesign breaks this barrier with its unique geometric calculation engine. Using its proprietary GSM (Global Shape Modeling) technology, it automatically fits NURBS surfaces to mesh shapes as if they were "suctioned" onto them. It generates high-precision solid models instantly while maintaining the original clean surface structure. Furthermore, the "fuzzy offset" function absorbs minor noise in the mesh and reconstructs smooth surfaces. It instantly extracts processable geometric data from topology optimization data and distorted meshes after molding analysis. This liberates designers from the hassle of data conversion and dramatically accelerates development speed.
