[Instructor]
Attorney Toshiyuki Saito, TMI Comprehensive Legal Office
[Key Lecture Content]
In 2026, Japan will enact a revised Space Activities Act, the FCC in the United States will amend satellite licensing regulations, and discussions are progressing on the EU Space Bill, which could apply to extraterritorial companies in Europe. The legal framework concerning space is undergoing a significant transformation globally. Therefore, for companies considering entry into or investment in space-related businesses, as well as those already involved in the space business, understanding the latest regulations is essential for both risk management and seizing business opportunities.
In this seminar, based on practical experience as an attorney and a government official specializing in space law, we will clearly explain the overall picture of the space law systems in Japan, the U.S., and Europe, as well as the latest trends. We will also organize practical points regarding space-related contracts, including launch contracts, providing actionable insights that can be utilized from the next day. We welcome participants from beginners in the space business to practical staff.
