The arrival of the vehicle-mounted fanless IPC equipped with the 6th generation Intel Core processor (Skylake)!

Neousys will release the "Nuvo-5100VTC series," a fanless PC for vehicles equipped with the 6th generation Intel Core processor (Skylake), in September 2016. The Nuvo-5100VTC has received E-mark and EN 50155 (railway standard) certifications. The four PoE ports use +M12 connectors, providing excellent vibration and shock resistance. It also features a mini PCIe socket for 3G/4G communication. Additionally, a CAN bus for in-vehicle communication is implemented, along with isolated DIO for sensors and actuators. In recent years, the implementation of maintenance DX to achieve "non-stop factories" has become an urgent necessity in manufacturing sites. Amid the trend of factory IoT and data utilization, the use of remote I/O, which can remotely aggregate and collect sensor information and control signals from equipment and sensors dispersed inside and outside the factory, is gaining importance as a foundation for predictive maintenance and condition monitoring. On the other hand, the installation environment for remote I/O is not necessarily limited to control panels or well-conditioned factory interiors. There is an increasing need to collect data in harsh environments, such as outdoor equipment and conditions involving high temperatures, low temperatures, vibrations, and strong electrical noise.
