Isothermal Titration Calorimeter (Affinity ITC)

The Isothermal Titration Calorimeter (ITC) is a device that detects the heat changes associated with titration at a constant temperature and is primarily used for analyzing molecular interactions. It measures the minute heat changes that occur when molecules bind to each other, allowing for the determination of binding ratio (n), binding constant (Ka), and the enthalpy change of binding (ΔH) from the resulting titration curve. Affinity ITC is an isothermal titration calorimeter that provides high sensitivity, high reproducibility, and advanced ITC technology in life science research environments. With AccuShot technology, it delivers precise amounts of titrant to the appropriate location, and the FlexSpin stirring function achieves efficient mixing and high sensitivity. The automatic cleaning function prevents contamination between samples. It offers the option of standard capacity (1.0 mL) or low capacity cells (190 µL), and a temperature-controlled auto-sampler for 96 wells is also available.

Isothermal calorimeter TAM IV

For the evaluation of reactions of various substances.

TAM offers the highest level of sensitivity, flexibility, and performance. By using a highly sensitive microcalorimeter along with various accessories, it precisely controls various experimental conditions. Up to four calorimeters can be used simultaneously, allowing for repeated experiments and a variety of experiments to be conducted. As the industrial sector has begun to focus more on developing and manufacturing environmentally friendly products, various new biodegradable polymers have been adopted. Poly(Lactic Acid) (PLA) is a biodegradable aliphatic polyester produced from lactic acid obtained through the saccharification and fermentation of starch. Due to its high mechanical strength comparable to PETE and good biocompatibility, PLA has been commonly used in biomedical applications such as sutures and stents, but the expansion of PLA's applications is being considered. Understanding the properties of PLA is essential for the development of new applications.
